Being a runner myself for over 25 years, I was very excited to be shooting a running event in Goring. The 2022 Goring 10k took place on Sunday 20th March, set in beautiful countryside and with chip-timing, closed roads and now legendary Pierreponts flapjack, the Goring 10k is widely regarded as one of the most enjoyable 10k races in the UK. I can personally vouch for that, I ran it just before lockdown two years ago and it is indeed a beautiful course. The finish is only second to Reading Half Marathon, running through the field to the finish through a lane of supporters really is rather special. Every single runner receives as much support as the winner. There are plenty of volunteers and marshalls including children from the local school, and a parent on the PA system announcing in the runners and providing a lot of entertainment to the supporters.

The race photos will be available within the next 48 hours. Here is a selection of photos from the day.

The Goring 10k is run by the PTA to raise money for Goring Church Of England Primary School PTA, you can donate here: https://donate.giveasyoulive.com/charity/goring-church-of-england-primary-school-parent-teacher-association/279516/0
