Photographing this young couple in the sea was probably the most fun I’ve ever had on a photoshoot. We had planned to shoot the day before at sunset, but it rained almost the entire day. The next day was glorious, we all walked into the sea the waves were calm and the water was shallow. It was perfect. If anyone is wondering if I used underwater housing for my Canon 5D Mk3, no I didn’t. I just held the camera underneath and quickly moved it if I felt a wave coming. I had to work fast. Anyway this couple didn’t need posing. I guided them and they just did what came best to them, connecting and being in love. I wanted to create something different in this photoshoot, I wanted to add more mood to my shoot. The black and white in the editing I think achieves that. What do you think?
