Stokke Xplory V6 stroller pictures and review! We’ve been fans of the Tripp Trapp highchair for years and post many pictures of it in use on my instagram page. Stokke featured some of my pictures on their account and got in touch and very kindly offered to send us a Xplory V6 to try out and review. We were bowled over with excitement! We’ve were sworn to secrecy until it’s official release date April 5th 2018. But I’ve been out and about in Reading testing it out … here are my findings.

I love my new Xplory V6 stroller because my 13 month old baby girl can sit high enough to see me in her little throne and I can see her. Cece is a very sociable baby and she likes to babble away, pointing at birds, trees, her brother, telling me in her adorable way that she is there. The height of the seat means that we can chat to each other whilst we are going about on our walks. I wonder what on earth I did without it! I would never go back, it has completely changed our strolling experience. As we live in the city centre and walk pretty much everywhere, it perfectly suits our urban life.

Style:
Stylewise we love it, all the heart eyes! It’s the most unique stroller on the market, there’s no doubt it’s a good looking stroller. The fabric of our stroller is classy and modern, it’s smooth to the touch and a bonus that it’s a unisex colour. We were too worried about preserving it’s newness to let our cherub feed herself in it, but we did a quick test of an area underneath, it was easy to clean.

Positioning:
The positioning of this stroller seat is what makes it unique. The height of the seat means you can maintain eye contact with baby, keeping her happier for longer and also promote parent child bonding. The seat height is adjustable, so you can lower it as baby grows. The chair can also be used as a highchair in a restaurant. The narrowness of the frame makes it easier than some strollers to manavoure in tight spaces. My husband and I have suffered bad backs, the height of the seat means we do not need to bend to lift baby in and out of her seat. The boffins at Stokke have really through this through. We took the Stokke v6 xplory to our local restaurants over the weekend, and positioned the seat upright. Cece sat at the table with us and didn’t demand to be let out, she was a lot easier to handle in her stroller compared to a wooden highchair where she easily breaks loose.

Maneuverability:
I did have concerns that the style of the stroller would make it uncomfortable to use, I needn’t have worried. The bigger wheels actually meant that I wasn’t heaving it up pavements, making baby lurch forward. It’s light and easy to push with one hand. The leather handle is a nice bonus.

Storage / Shopping :
The higher seating position makes way for storage undercarriage which is easier to access, again this felt safer for my back. I’m puzzled as to why all strollers aren’t like this. The included shopping bag opens like a box. Space is limited in the bag, but thats fine for us as we don’t carry a lot.
